Ok, we’re live from Microsoft’s E3 2007 keynote! The event officially kicks off at 8:30PM PDT, but we’ll be doing our usual pre-game coverage here.

8:06PM PDT - Ok, so the event is being held at — get this — a high school? It’s a damned fancy one if you ask us, full coliseum style seating. More after the break.

8:19PM PDT - Hip hop and Chemical Brothers blasts out amid the green neon lights and giant silver balls. Microsoft’s decision to hold the event outside is taking its toll on us. The chilly breeze is making us wish we wore jackets. Pants too.

It’s practically a foregone conclusion that the price drops we North Americans saw on Sony’s PlayStation 3 would hit other markets eventually, but the managing director of Sony Computer Entertainment in Australia may have revealed exactly when that drop is coming. According to a blurb at SmartHouse News, Michael Ephraim has apparently stated that a “PAL market announcement will be made on July 12th regarding price cuts to the PAL market PS3.” More specifically, consoles sold in Australia “could be cut by as much as 17-percent,” which would purportedly lower that model to AUD$829, and gamers in the UK could see the PS3 lowered to a much more respectable £350 if the percentage discount carries over. Only time will tell, eh?
I’m a bit late with this entry but I saved the site in my browser because it’s that damned cool.. A display so thin that you can even wear it. The technology is electroluminescent.
“In the future, it could get wrapped around a lamppost or a person’s wrist, even worn as clothing. Perhaps it can be put up like wallpaper.”
All the walls in your appartement can be a display and show whatever you feel right in the moment. Is it a forest or the sea. With all the climate change going around (and today is “Live Earth”) at least at home you’ll see a perfect nature…
But if you’ll have to pay this technology and your hightech wallpaper with advertising it may become hard…

Another version of an interface for a digital diary - one of the application i think would be useful for wearable electronics and / or computing. This tiny camera or handy piece of jewelry is the result of a Kodak sponsoring for the search of the future of wearable technologies.
To capture a moment, it can be as easy as tapping the camera while in the closed position, or opening it up for a more classical photo composition with the LCD screen before shooting.
Pretty cool idea, is’nt it?
The Fashion in Motion show as part of the CTIA is always a great show but from year to year it becomes more famouse and wellknown. This year we find big names like Elle, La Perla, Zegna but of course our famous player like Elekson and Kyono too.
Some of the runway models will show products like the he Zegna iJacket, Koyono’s Blackcoat Sport and the GTech Professional Messenger bag. All of them ‘powered’ by Eleksen’s smart fabric technology.
Fashion show times are 11:30 am, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 27 and Wednesday, March 28; and 11:00 am and 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 29.
We care so much about how we look and how our homes look but sometimes, we forget about the little things. We do live in a society that we’re all focused about staying connected via our technology and randomly bumping into one another on the street. How about we all make a promise, “I promise that we will at least write someone once a month”. It doesn’t have to be a long note but just a little something. I am a fan of having stationary and always have some on hand. I love sending Thank You Notes, Holiday Cards (each one has a special note specific to someone) and random “How Are You’s”. I love this stationary found at Turtle Papers. I love the Asain Inspired Themes. How great would it be to get something like this in the mail or to get a call (gasp or even a written response back) thanking you for your unexpected but welcome note? Take some time to visit Turtle Papers and make sure that you remember to add this much needed accessory to your lifestyle.
I love this super cute bag by one of my favorites, Margaret Nicole. The Large Wicker Clutch is like carrying a little basket in the palm of your hand. This cute bag has a ribbon that has one of two options, Grosgrain Ribbon or Leather. I must say that I am a fan of the Brown Leather and feel that this would be so cute to pair with jeans and a halter top. This is such a great way of marrying a simple chic clutch with a slight edge to the leather embellishment. There is a detachable leather strap but I think I love it as a clutch. Another cute item to pair with this look would be a natural pair of heels that also have a wicker or a cork effect.
How lush does it look outside? Wherever you call home, life has taken an extra pep with the fabulous weather. It makes you want to embrace your inner nature girl and find a way to contribute. I love this necklace by Julie Garland Jewelry which has this Lovely Leaf Necklace pictured above. This sterling silver necklace has a beautiful Thai sterling silver cherry leaf charm with a mini gold freshwater pearl and red chalcedony briolette. I love when there are little details that make you take a prolonged stare. I also love that these colors will work well for all seasons! Julie Garland Jewelry has fabulous pieces that will make you super cute during the summer while making sure that you don’t go too far outside of your budget. Take a peek at what she has to offer!
There has been a lot going on at my jewelry line, Kitten Couture. I love when I can unveil something new and hopefully this will curb some of the “Hey Kimmie, when can I see something new?”. Well Giselle, is a new addition to my jewelry collection which is apart of the Lovely Lariats that I have just launched. I have to say that this is probably my favorite. I love the pops of yellow, this is a great look to add into your wardrobe. I am a huge fan of Mother of Pearl, Botswana Agate, Shell Chips, Citrines and Tiger Eye. Blending the tones of brown and yellow together make this a great neutral palate to wear with jeans, sun dresses and many more. Take a moment to see these fabulous pieces and many more that are brand new.
Ok so I have been getting a lot of emails from people saying, “Kimmie, I know you love accessories but what have you been up to with your own line?”. This is a great question and I can now answer since my new collection was released this weekend! As many of you know, I have my own jewelry line, Kitten Couture and I just launched the newest collection, Lovely Lariats. The lariat above whose name is Erika is a Carnelian, Mother of Pearl, Botswana Agate, Tiger Eye, Snail Shell and Shell. Why do I love the lariat so much? I love that you can wrap them around your neck or do a simple tie around the neck. I have always loved the chunky necklaces that play well with whatever you’re wearing at the time. Carnelian is a beautiful pinkish, orange, rosy color that has been so popular this season and I love that it can be worn no matter what season you’re in. Take a moment to visit my site and see these fabulous pieces - if I say so myself.
